Search Engine: Ecosia

Ecosia is a search engine which donates over 80% of it’s profit into planting trees. The search results are powered through Bing, but enhanced by their own algorithms.

Ecosia generates profits through ad revenues, much like similar search engines.

Ecosia also has a good privacy policy, does not track analytics, or create personal profiles on users.

As of 2020, over 100 million trees were planted, and Ecosia is planting 75 trees a minute.

I have used Ecosia, but personally stopped some time ago. I am not a big fan of Bing or Yahoo search engines, and Ecosia is functionally very similar with a greater cause.
