Wikipedia is among the 15 most popular websites, and is used by everyone from third graders to elite scientists.

Wikipedia’s openness is what makes it one of the greatest and most reliable encyclopedias to exist- but that wasn’t always the case.

There have been times when Wikipedia’s reputation was at stake, times where people questioned the accuracy of Wikipedia’s articles.

Wikipedia has always made the integrity of the information a top priority, and the non-biased open-source view of Wikipedia has resulted

in it becoming one of the most accurate and reliable encyclopedias out there. It’s always up-to-date, it’s always disputed, and it’s always verified.

These are all things that are difficult to accomplish in published, physical encyclopedias.

Wikipedia is a bastion of light in the internet- a site that will always be fighting for free information and the distribution of knowledge.
